GIRLS EXPERIMENTAL DANCE MUSIC
GIRLS EXPERIMENTAL DANCE MUSIC
GIRLS were a forgotten all-women show band from Kolbermoor / Southern Bavaria that toured German dance clubs from 1967-71.The band dissolved when drummer and co-founder Anny de Martin died in 1971.
In 2019, her son, the drummer and composer Maurice de Martin formed a new band called GIRLS to honor his mother and to bring her idea of dance music into an experimental NOW.
GIRLS today are Maurice de Martin together with the singer, bassist and writer Susanne Sachsse and a constantly changing set of guests.
